February Special Mission Offering
Our special mission offering for the month of February is the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank. They are doing their annual Souper Bowl of Caring, so bring your non-perishable food items to the church.

Aluminum Cans
A friendly reminder that you can support the church through bringing your aluminum cans to the church and placing them in the trailer in the back of the parking lot. The church will haul them away to be recycled and receive some money for them.

Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study
Gentlemen, please join the men of Sterling and Funny River Lutheran Churches for breakfast and bible study on Saturday, March 10th at 9:00 am. Sterling Lutheran Church will be hosting. We will be continuing our Men’s Network study of the Lost Books.

Confirmation Classes
We have two individuals who will be learning about what we believe, teach, and confess as the Christian Church. Please keep our confirmands (Destiny Langston and Jake Philips) in your prayers as they learn more about the faith they were baptized into. If there is anyone else who would like to join the class or just learn more about what we believe, please let Pastor Atkinson know.

Just a friendly reminder that Thrivent Choice Dollars from 2017 expire on March 31st, 2018. If you haven’t designated where you would like contributions to go to, make sure you do so before the deadline.
